Happy Adoption Update Mar 17, 2017
"I wanted to tell you that Lucy is doing great! She plays catch daily with both my sons and walks and runs with Zane, who you met. (I go with, but only walk). ... We took her into Petsmart Sunday to re-measure for the harness (large was also too big) and she did perfect around other dogs, Zane talked to her when we saw a dog approaching and I blocked her vision of most of the other dogs. They also provided us with a booklet with free food coupons for newly adopted pets! So far, she has slept on everyone's beds. She does not mind the cat, Georgia, however, Georgia is not too sure of Lucy at this time." Leslie V.

Hello, my name is Lucy. I'm an 6-1/2 year old extremely well cared for Border Collie/Saluki mix. My previous owner wants people to know that I will play ball for hours if you let me. I love balls so much that I have been known to bring pumpkins home from my walks! I also love to swim and get ice cubes in my water dish. I am crate trained and enjoyed being an indoor dog with my people. Because I was attacked when I was younger, I should be an only dog. The shelter is requiring that any children in my new home are at least 10 years old.
