Personality: Affectionate, Friendly, Gentle, Loves

Naomi, our 13 pound 2 year old chihuahua mix, does not have a good poker face. Blessed with big, watery eyes and expressive eyebrows, it's easy to tell that Naomi is usually thinking "oh geez". We understand being worried. Naomi shouldn't be anxious about not getting adopted, though. We'll make sure she does!

Found stray and pregnant, we took in Naomi so she could have a safe place to raise her puppy. Now that her puppy is old enough and Naomi is recovered from her spay, it's time to find her a home.

Naomi has been a perfect guest. She is quiet, polite, potty and crate trained. Naomi needs some leash training: she tends to get a little overwhelmed and can be barky when she sees other dogs. A lower traffic neighborhood would be best. At home, however, Naomi is great with other dogs. Although we have not seen her with cats, due to Naomi's soft nature, we suspect she would be fine.

On the shy and timid side, once Naomi warms up, she is really sweet and cuddly. She tends to warm up much more easily to women. Naomi is gentle and playful. We bet she'd love having dog friends in her life. Although she's friendly and not aggressive, because she's easily spooked, we don't recommend Naomi live with little kids.

Naomi is heartworm negative and current on her flea and heartworm preventatives. Her adoption fee is $400.

Want to be the one to make sure Naomi doesn't really have anything to worry about?
