"STELLA" **I'm BACK!**CUTIE!!** BLUE-eyed little terrier mix "OHS- PORTLAND"

sorry to see that Stella is back in the shelter. Apparently in her short adoption home, she was afraid to leash walk, and didn't want to go outside in the rain (even *seasoned* dogs were refusing that during the heavy downpours we had then!)

PLEASE be patient. She really is a special dog and will take longer to adjust now.

What my friends at OHS say about me:

  • I would love to get up and go adventure with you.
  • Treats and time are the way to my heart! Give me some of each and as I get more comfortable my true personality will shine.
  • I have a medical condition that requires long term management.
  • Mental enrichment activities are a great way to entertain me and work my brain.
  • I need to be the only dog in the home.
  • High Energy: I can become easily frustrated if my physical and mental exercise needs are not met. I will need positive outlets and a calm environment to help me flourish.
  • Shy and Nervous: I can be worried about new people, new surroundings and touch. I prefer to take things at my own pace and will need to live in a calm environment.

The type of home I'm looking for:

  • I have had successful play dates with other dogs, but I didn't always like to share my space with my dog sibling in my last home... I need to be the only dog in the home.
