UPDATE 4/3/36 ADOPTED!
LIESL is one of the most friendly, outgoing dogs I've met at the shelter. Loves to be petted by people she has just met, and loves to converse! And she is absolutely gorgeous.
Now staying in an OHS foster home
"LIESL" AVAILABLE FOR Adoption at Oregon Humane Society in PORTLAND

What my friends at OHS say about me:
- The staff here say I'm being dramatic, but it feels like I'll die when I'm not getting attention!
- I will follow you around for attention - spending time with my people is the best part of the day!
- Looking for a conversation partner? I'm quite a talkative lady.
- I already know how to sit and I walk lovely on leash!
- Shy and Nervous: I can be worried about new people, new surroundings and touch. I prefer to take things at my own pace and will need to live in a calm environment.
- I will need to meet any canine companions prior to getting adopted.
The type of home I'm looking for:
- I would flourish in a quiet, calm environment and a low-traffic home. No busy apartments or dwellings.
- I need a home without cats or other small animals.
- It could be with you! Click here to learn about the adoption process.
Interested in adopting me?
Animals available for adoption in foster homes need a special questionnaire submitted. From there, we will make an initial appointment for a phone consult to discuss their needs, and then schedule a meet and greet. Appointments are set on a first-come first-served basis in the order that we receive the questionnaires.
