Hi, my name is Sunflower. My foster parents call me Sunny, and I've responded really well to it! I can be a little standoffish at first, but once I've explored my new space and built trust, I will likely be your shadow. I'm VERY sweet, loving, and loyal. If you allow me, I will most likely lay right next to you and snuggle with you. I know some commands like "sit", "shake", "stay", and "no". I go potty outside. I am very food motivated! I actually love food so much that I tend to beg, but my foster parents are working with me on that. I can get excited and get jumpy, but if you say "no" I stop pretty quickly. I currently have two foster dog brothers. After a slow introduction, I now know that I love to hangout with and play ball with them (i LOVE playing ball). I also have a foster cat sister who I ignore completely. I would be fine in a home with the right dog(s), but I'd also be content as the only dog in the home. I think a house with older kids would be best as I can get excited and jumpy. I can get stressed when there's a lot of noise and chaos, so a calmer environment would be great for me. I do love to explore my surroundings, so a fenced yard would be ideal for me. I do still get anxious in the crate, but my foster parents think I'd be just fine if left alone roaming freely. If you think I'd be a good fit, lets meet! I'm excited to find my forever home!
