BABKA In FOSTER home #336095 Great/Pyrenees $50
spayed female 8 yrs 2 mths 80 lbs
What my friends at OHS say about me:
- I've been spending the last several weeks in a foster home, where I've learned how to trust people again!
- I might start of shy, but once I get to know you, I'll greet you with happy wags and bump your hand for pets.
- It will be important to spend a few weeks with me in a secure back yard before trying to introduce me to new places, people or things. I am at my best when I get a lot of support and do better with people I have built a trusting relationship with.
- I have some previous injuries to my hind legs that makes it a little harder to get around, but I'm still enjoying life and would love to be your companion around the home, in the yard and on short neighborhood walks!
The type of home I require:
- I must go to a home with a fully fenced yard. No apartments or busy neighborhoods.
- Everyone living in the household will need to meet prior to my adoption.
- I will need to meet any resident dogs first before going home with you.
- To learn more about, my specific needs, please read my What to Expect handout.

SKY located in a quieter area of the shelter #336096 Great/Pyrenees $50
spayed female 3 yrs 2 mths 56 lbs
What my friends at OHS say about me:
- I have spent the past several weeks in a foster home! I'm learning to be a part of a home.
- I came from a special rescue case and have a lot to learn. The shelter volunteers and my foster family have been teaching me how to wear a collar, getting used to a leash, and what it means to be a human's best friend.
- I love attention and being around people once I see that I can trust them!
- I'm still learning how to be a companion dog. I may never be comfortable with a lot of change in my life, busy environments or dog parks.
- It will be important to spend a few weeks with me in a secure back yard before trying to introduce me to new places, people or things. I am at my best when I get a lot of support and do better with people I have built a trusting relationship with.
- I have become good friends with the other dogs in my foster home - I might enjoy having a dog brother or sister in my new home!
- If I become afraid or startled, I might try to bolt or may pull a leash out of your hands.
The type of home I require:
- I must go to a home with a fully fenced yard. No apartments or busy neighborhoods.
- Everyone living in the household will need to meet prior to my adoption.

NEUTered male, 8 yrs, 2mths 86 lbs
What my friends at OHS say about me:
- My name is Qistibi (though some of my favorite people also call me Glacier). I've been spending the last fwe months in a foster home, and I've grown into a confident, playful, affectionate dog!
- It can take me a little time to get comfortable with new people, but once I see that I can trust you, I'll show you why all the staff and volunteers love me.
- I love cuddling, zooming around the backyard, looking out the window with my dog sister and eating tasty treats! Things I don't like include scary vacuums, lawn mowers and other loud noises.
- I will need to meet any canine companions prior to getting adopted.
- To learn more about my specific needs, please read my What to Expect handout.

- It could be with you! Click here to learn about the adoption process.
Interested in adopting me?
Animals available for adoption in foster homes need a special questionnaire submitted. Appointments are set on a first-come first-served basis in the order that we receive the questionnaires.
