Adopting Sharona, our 38 pound 8 year old mystery mix, is a fool-proof wellness hack. Probiotics, meditation, and aromatherapy are all fine. But, why not hang out with the most tranquil dog we know? Breathe deep while your face is buried in her neck. Lay on your back with her in the sun. Before you know it, you too will be peaceful. Give up all the rants and take in a stray - Sharona is guaranteed to be good for your blood pressure.

We took Sharona in from the shelter to help with her teeth. She'd had 8 years of no dental care and needed to be spayed. Although she had to lose a few broken molars, Sharona's breath is now as fresh as her outlook on life.

Sharona, although a little shy, loves people. She is great on a crowded patio and gravitates towards small kids. Sharona is patient and gentle and laid back. At her foster home, she is so polite that her foster family lets Sharona have the run of the house while they are gone. Sharona is potty trained and not destructive. Once she picks her people, she is a velcro dog and loves a good snuggle.

Sharona is great with other calm dogs and cats.
For a chill dog, Sharona likes to walk fast and is learning how not to pull. Sharona would love to go on hikes and adventures in between naps on the couch with her family. While fostering her, we noticed Sharona is a little bowlegged in the rear- her x-rays were normal and she doesn't seem to have any pain. It just adds to her charm.

Sharona is heartworm negative, vaccinated, and current on her flea and heartworm preventatives.

Eat more whole grains, drink plenty of water, and get some good sleep - preferably while spooning a dog who needs you.
