"BLOSSOM" Gentle Wallflower, young PITMIX *calm home* "MCAS"

MCAS needs to spay/neuter all dogs before adoption, especially the females (and ensure that the dogs are given adequate care and recovery time!) Adopting intact dogs to new homes is grossly irresponsible in our current homeless dog crisis. EVEN POOR counties with a much smaller budget for animal control are ensuring that  the dogs are spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Management is failing the animals and the community ...Possible Solution? - lease/create an offsite space and hire part-time well- qualified Veterinarians and qualified volunteers to help out. Provide safe spay/neuter and provide a safe recovery space so all adoptable animals are spay/neutered before they go to new homesIt would not a problem to recruit veterinarians  if given a competitive wage and more autonomy

"BLOSSOM" is Available for adoption at Multnomah County Animal Services!

Blossom, a gentle 1.5-year-old, is a sweet soul with a wary heart. She's a wallflower waiting for her chance to bloom. All she needs is a calm, patient home where she can learn to trust. Blossom isn't looking for a party; she's looking for a peaceful sanctuary. She thrives on gentle praise and quiet companionship. Loud noises and fast movements can be scary for her, so a quiet environment would be ideal. With a little time and a lot of love, Blossom will become the most devoted and loyal friend you've ever had. If you're ready to show a timid pup how wonderful the world can be, Blossom is waiting for you.πŸŒΊπŸ’–
