Meet Blossom, a sweet and gentle 1.5-year-old dog looking for a quiet
home where she can blossom at her own pace. As a bit of a wallflower,
Blossom can be wary of new people and environments. She thrives on
peaceful companionship and gentle praise, so a calm, quiet home with a
patient family would be her ideal sanctuary.
Blossom loves to be wherever her people are, and she is a champion
cuddler who just wants to be close. She has a history of doing well with
other dogs, showing a gentle demeanor even with her senior foster
sister. She would do best with slow, supervised introductions to other
pets, especially those smaller than her, as she can have bursts of
playful puppy energy.
Although she can be nervous in busy areas, Blossom loves a good walk and
enjoys playing with toys, especially her stuffies. She'll play fetch
with a ball, but don't be surprised if you have to chase after it
yourself! This smart, treat-motivated pup is kennel-trained,
house-trained, and respects fences. She is also responsive to
correction, making her a promising student for continued training. While
she may jump up a bit when excited, her gentle nature suggests she
could do well in a home with kids.
Blossom isn't much of a barker, but she'll let out a little whine to let
you know what she wants. With time, love, and a bit of patience, this
timid pup will become the most devoted and loyal friend you could ask
for. If you're ready to show her how wonderful the world can be, Blossom
is waiting for her forever family.
