My name is Nakita and I am currently in foster care. If you are interested in me, please contact Alix, the Foster Coordinator, at alix.womack@multco.us or 503-988-6247 to set up a time to meet me :) I'm an adorable, sweet, three year old chihuahua. I have lived with the same family since I was a puppy; but sadly, they have lost their home and had to release me to the shelter. I am a bit shy, but once in a safe environment I begin to blossom. The shelter was too scary for me so right now I'm living in a foster home. They have learned that I'm alert, curious, active and like to play with squeaky toys. I'm potty trained and am learning how to wear a collar and leash. I love to be with my people, nestled on your lap, but I'm also content to rest in my bed or another soft place. Due to my petite size, a home with children over the age of 8 would be best for me. My previous home said that I lived with other dogs and really enjoyed their company. I am a wonderful, affectionate dog that is looking for a wonderful, affectionate home. My foster family has learned a lot about me so they can answer any questions you may have. Ask about me today!
