Hi there! I'm Brody, a 2 year old Husky mix fella. I am a fun and energetic boy. Like most Husky's we are smart, need lots of exercise and mental stimulation. I walk well on leash, know sit and shake already, but would be eager to learn more! I am a bit jumpy, and love to play (sometimes with my mouth) so any kids in the home should be 8 and older! Ask to meet me today!

Even non-Husky-fans will love Brody! He's quite the character and loves attention.

"HUGO" Smooshy face Pitmix - Update

ADOPTED!
Jan 2019

Available for adoption at Multnomah County Animal Services!

Hugo, male pitmix, 5 yrs 45lbs
here's my Mcas weblink
174458
Hugo here! A fun and energetic 5 year old Pit Bull fella searching for the perfect new home. I came into the shelter as a stray and was pretty emaciated, so I was VERY focused on food. When I started out I would put my mouth on anything I suspect to be edible (or even potentially containing anything edible... like, say, your hand?). As I've gained some pounds, and worked with staff and volunteers I am starting to become much better with my food issues. My new home should be ready and willing to continue to work with me and my manners. I have met dogs successfully in the shelter, but because of my resource guarding I will need to be the only animal in the home. I would be fine the shelter thinks having some dogggy friends outside of my home though! I also need kids to be 12 and older due to my jumpy/mouthy play-style and food issues. I am a sweet goober, love to cuddle, and would love to meet you!!!

Hi, my name is Mugsy a 1 year old Pit Bull fella. I came to the shelter as a stray and am now looking for my new home! I am a bit fearful, and need a little bit of time to warm up to new people. If you have treats though, we will become fast friends! I am also a bit scared of loud noises and fast movements, so my new family will be patient with me and have respectful kids 12 and older. Creating a positive environment for me to learn that the world is not too scary will be critical to my success! I am a sweet boy who thinks he is a lap dog. Ask to meet me today!

"PUPPIES" ..."Monty...Sandy...Tip...Bobby

ADOPTED!
jan 2019

Available for adoption at Multnomah County Animal Services!

I am a 10 week old puppy. Don't know what breed I am, it's a surprise. My brothers & I have been in foster care since we were 3 weeks old. We are healthy, happy, affectionate, & full of puppy energy! We love playing & enjoy other cats, dogs, & children but please remember we are small fragile little beings so we need patient, respectful, adopters that have time to spend with us. We also are use to having each other around so having another dog to play with & keep us company is really important. We are doing well with our continual potty training - pads in the house & regular breaks outside. We are crate trained & love having a place we can go to if tired, scared, or just need a quite break. If you are willing to patiently continue our positive reinforcement training & shower us with lots & lots of love then come to the shelter & meet us! If you would like to see videos of us please visit our foster family's Instagram:
fortheloveoffosters
Or email my foster family with questions:
robrivas@comcast.net

We will be at the shelter Sunday 01/13/19.
A Sign up sheet will be outside the shelter doors at 10:00am. Interviews will be given on a first come first serve basis.

I am Zelda, an active and playful Labrador mix. You could call me the hands-on type but since I do not have hands I learn with my mouth. To an exuberant dog like me everything is a game, sometimes I just get so excited I will jump up and grab the first thing that looks like a toy. I am up for anything and ready to amaze my new family with my skills. I am looking for a family who does not take life too seriously that will be patient, positive and lift me to my potential of being a perfect pup! I am still learning how to use my mouth, so if you have kids in the home, they will need to be over the age of 5. Please come and meet me today! THERE WILL BE A SIGN UP SHEET FOR MY ADOPTION AT 10AM ON SATURDAY 1/12/19 AT THE FRONT OF THE SHELTER. YOU MUST BE PRESENT AT 11AM WHEN THE SHELTER OPENS TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR MY ADOPTION.

"HONEY BUNNY" cute shy little teenage mix - Needs a Canine Companion

ADOPTED!
Jan 2019

Available for adoption at Multnomah County Animal Services!

Honey Bunny, female mix, 8 mths, 9 lbs
here's my Mcas weblink   (1/10 adoption pending meet/greet)
177293
Hi there, I'm Honey Bunny, an 8 month old American Shelter dog lady. I am a bit fearful in the shelter, but come out of my shell around other dogs! Because of this, the shelter is requiring me to go home with another playful dog! I should also go home with kids 15 and older.

Honey Bunny is a scared little pup. Afraid in the shelter, and also a bit slow to trust new people. Give her time and let her know that people bring good things (she likes string cheese)
Honey Bunny is a little love, and needs someone who already has a playful dog in the home, as that helps her.

So I am now looking for my new home! I am SUPER sweet, seriously, I might lick you to death. I'd make a great family dog, but the only thing I ask is that there are NO kitties in the home. Do you have room for a gentle giant to retire in your home, and to spoil me rotten? Ask to meet me today.

"JOJO" aka "BANJO" Happy Adoption Update!

Jan 4, 2019

Happy Adoption: JoJo

"I am writing to let you know that JoJo (formerly Banjo) has been thriving in our home. JoJo is a Yorkie mix, 11 years old, and has some medical issues. I am a CVT and we are taking good care of him. He is growing hair back on his little bald back, and we have been brushing his teeth. He is on a glucosamine arthritis supplement. JoJo was adopted on 12/4/18 as an emotional support dog for my special needs daughter. He has fit the bill prefectly from day 1. He snuggles with her, stays with her when she needs comfort, and doesn’t shy away when she is upset.
We are so happy that little JoJo has joined our family. We love him very much!"

-The Readel-Campbell Family

I'm Banjo, the goofy looking Yorkie mix searching for a new place to call my own. I'm a fun little fella who enjoys going for walks - though I have a collapsing trachea and need to be walked on a harness and NOT on a collar. In addition, I have some medical needs that will require consistent veterinary treatment. I can be a bit sensitive of some handling so I would like any children in my new home to be 10 years or older. But don't let those things fool you! I love nothing more than to get some good rear end scratches and spending time with my favorite people. Come and meet me today!

"RAZZLE" Plus Video! Flyball anyone?

ADOPTED!!!
Jan 2018
check out Razzle's ball throwing skill in his video!
 thanks Quimby

Available for adoption at Multnomah County Animal Services!

Razzle male Staffie mix, 2 yrs, 42 lbs
here's my Mcas weblink
171012
I am Razzle, a fun loving and energetic Staffy mix. Dogs like me love to get out and play but are not always sure what to do with our mouths. I can tend to get so excited I jump for the first thing I see, and the game is on! My ideal family will be active, patient and use positive training methods to help me become a more refined pup. I think working with a trainer would be a fun way for us to bond and learn together. I am eager to learn and can't wait to show you how smart I am! I would be a great match for anybody that is looking for a potential working dog. Agility, flyball, and nosework would all be great exercises for my mental and physical needs. I am high energy and the tennis ball is life. If you are looking for some fun exercises to do with your dog, than I'm your boy! If you have kids in the home, they will need to be over the age of 12 years, due to my mouthy behaviors.

A great little dog.
Razzle loves play catch and brings it right back to you.
