Hugo here! A fun and energetic 5 year old Pit Bull fella searching for
the perfect new home. I came into the shelter as a stray and was pretty
emaciated, so I was VERY focused on food. When I started out I would put
my mouth on anything I suspect to be edible (or even potentially
containing anything edible... like, say, your hand?). As I've gained
some pounds, and worked with staff and volunteers I am starting to
become much better with my food issues. My new home should be ready and
willing to continue to work with me and my manners. I have met dogs
successfully in the shelter, but because of my resource guarding I will
need to be the only animal in the home. I would be fine the shelter
thinks having some dogggy friends outside of my home though! I also
need kids to be 12 and older due to my jumpy/mouthy play-style and food
issues. I am a sweet goober, love to cuddle, and would love to meet
you!!!
