UPDATE 6/28/26 ADOPTED/on hold or TRANSFERRED
The dogs at Clackamas Co shelter have a harder time getting adopted since recent budget cuts closed the shelter on Saturdays.
Fill out our adoption application. There is a $10 application fee due at the time of submission. Please apply on our website and we will contact you. If you’re applying from out of state to adopt a dog, please note that it is a requirement that you come meet the dog at our facility. Adoptions are available by appointment only. We will call you as soon as your approved adoption application is next in our queue. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we find homes for pets as quickly and efficiently as possible. For more information on the adoption process, call 503-655-8628 or email dogshelter@clackamas.us.

"TAFFYTA" Available for Adoption at "CLACKAMAS CO DOG Services"
Shelter ID: 106344 Breed: Siberian Husky
spayed female 3 yrs 53 lbs
Taffyta with volunteer (courtesy CCDS)
Once I'm comfortable, I really enjoy being around my people and letting my fun side shine. I walk nicely on leash and would love to join you for walks, hikes, or any outdoor adventures.
I may do well with other dogs as long as we're introduced slowly and appropriately. I have not met any other creatures so I don't know how I would react to to cats or other animals. I have lots of energy (typical Husky here!), so I'd love a home with a securely fenced yard where I can run, play, and be my happy self.
I'm looking for a patient, loving home where I can keep building confidence and be your fun, loyal companion.
1) Taffyta is a happy girl who may do great in a home as a first-time dog if her new family is committed to her mental and physical needs.
2) We don't know how Taffyta will be with cats or other small animals, so be sure to discuss proper introductions between any resident small animals and Bailey with your adoption counselor.
3) Taffyta has been been interested with other dogs at the shelter but we recommend discussing introductions with your adoption councilor.
4) Taffyta may do great in a home with children who are respectful with their hands and her space!
