Please first research the breed - and then come on by and visit Aries! Aries is a very big and strong boy, and like many dogs of Mastiff breeding, he will have some inherent distrust of strangers and also needs someone strong enough to walk him on a leash. Aries would also love a big fenced yard that he can play in when he is outside with you.

Hello, I'm Aries - I'm a bundle of playful and sweet in a huuuuge body! I've been a nice guy here at the shelter, though there are notes about my past that counselors would love to discuss with you before taking me home. Kids and I have not gotten along in the past, so the shelter is recommending no kiddos at home to keep everyone happy and safe! I'm a bit touchy about my ears which are sensitive right now, so please keep hands away from them for a bit until I say it's okay. Though I'm not a puppy anymore and know tricks like sit, I may still be jumpy when excited, so please be patient with me! I'm ready to learn to be my best self if you're kind and willing to teach! I'm also happy to be your walk buddy and get to know you better to share all the love I have to give. Please meet me at the shelter to see if we're a match!
