At this time, community members aren't able to visit the shelter to browse adoption kennels, and adoptions are limited to the virtual process. My name is Benny and I'm looking for a new, loving home! I have not had the greatest life so far and am really looking forward to meeting a family that can use positive reinforcement training techniques with me to help build my confidence. I started off pretty shy here, but I am now blossoming into a social butterfly and I get along with other dogs. The shelter is recommending no young kids in the home, as I can be sensitive to some handling. I love to play and am very treat motivated! I do have a couple medical issues that your adoption counselor can speak with you about, such as a deformed elbow, which could develop some arthritis as I get older. I also came to the shelter with an eye condition called Entropian. Due to my eyelashes constantly rubbing on my eyes, I have developed some ulcers and this will need to be surgically repaired.
