I think he has Dobie in him. Sweetheart. After initial jumping up in excitement, leans into you pets.
"At this time, community members aren't able to visit the shelter to browse adoption kennels, and adoptions are limited to the virtual process. I'm Pepe, a shy guy looking for someone who doesn't mind a lap dog of my size. I can be nervous about new things at first but with some time to hang back and observe (and some yummy snacks) I will make fast friends with my new people. I have shown some pro-social behaviors towards other dogs here at the shelter and may benefit from a confident canine companion in my new home! A meet is recommended prior to adoption if there are any other pups in the home. Once I am comfortable I will climb right onto you for an ear massage and give you all the kisses. Ask your adoption counselor for more resources on helping shy dogs feel at home!"
