"ENERGIZER BUNNY" aka "CHARLETTE" Happy Adoption Update!!

Happy Adoption: Charlotte (Energizer Bunny)

"Just wanted to send a quick update, little Charlotte is doing great! We just adore her, and we’re so excited she’s part of the family!"

-Dominique D.

"Energizer Bunny (now Charlotte) has been professionally cleaned up and looks infinitely better than she did when she came in. She has a perfect home for a wild young terrier and life is already looking up for this gal. "

Hi there! My shelter name is Energizer Bunny or Bunny for short. I am a 1 year old Wirehair Fox Terrier and I weigh 16.2lbs. I pretty much fit the AKC breed description as "an upbeat, friendly companion with loads of personality. As terriers, they possess the typical independence and prey drive of this feisty canine clan. They are smart and companionable; training can be a challenge but by no means impossible. Excellent athletes, natural comedians, and charming housemates, Wires are long-lived and low-shedding". Wirehair Fox Terriers to however require regular grooming and Bunny needs a trip to the beauty salon for appropriate grooming. If there are kids in Bunny's new home they should be at least 8 years old due to mouthiness.
"Energizer Bunny" here is very much in need of grooming!
Her hair felt like cement it was so filthy when she came in as a "stray"
Fortunately, she is now in a good home where she will no longer be neglected!

  1. Love her makeover picture. Glad she found a home that will never neglect her like that again.
