Honey the yellow labrador retriever mix was adopted after recovering from flea allergy dermatitis and pneumonia. Her new family says "Honey's fur is growing back on her hind-quarters, and she's infection free, on good flea meds, and all she wants to do is snuggle with our two other dogs. " - Michelle C

Do you like sugar and spice and everything nice? You should come see me. I'm Honey, a calm older spayed female yellow Labrador Retrieve mix, who weighs about 76lbs. I'm what they call a fixer upper because I need some TLC to get my coat and skin back into shape. The shelter doctor has already got me started on the road to getting better. I am on medication that will go with me to my new home and am anxiously awaiting a nice comfy home. I will need regular flea control and a good diet. The shelter is recommending kids 6 & up because my skin and ears might be sensitive.
What a wonderful update! I was so interested in adopting her. I'm thrilled she got a great home and has the loving companionship of other dogs as well!
ReplyDeleteAll my best to everyone involved!
