Rosie's former foster home enthusiastically mentioned on SDOP Facebook:
"Oh my gosh! She is so loving and smart!!! She had learned to wait before eating and going out the door. She responds to her name came when called. She loves the car. She calms down for lovies with you on the couch. She is a snuggle bug."

Hello, friends! My name is Rosie. I am quite the big love bug once you get to know me! Although I have come to love my friends here at the shelter, it can be a bit overwhelming here for me, so it is important that my new family take it slow introducing me to new people and places. With some patience and time, I will be able to show you my wonderful personality. I have done well with same-sized dogs, but should not live with any animals smaller than myself. I have spent the last couple months in a foster home, recovering from a bad case of kennel cough and have been medically cleared for adoption! Any children in the home should be over the age of 6 years and sturdy, due to my strength and energy level. I sure can't wait to meet you! I am 6 years old and weigh 54 pounds.
