Hello there everybody, I am an adorable little bundle of joy! My name is Jeff, I think I am a Terrier mix, I am approximately 3 months old, and I weigh a whooping 6lbs! I currently live with my foster family but am looking for a forever family to go for walks with, play with, and sleep with. Even though my cuteness is unreal, I am still a baby which means I have a lot of needs and learning to do, and require a lot of attention and patience just like a human baby! It is very important to me that I am with my people close to all of the time, so I would definitely be best fit for a family that maybe works from home or is home most of the day; I am trying to improve and work on my separation anxiety. I would also love to have another young playful friend to play with. The foster dog I live with is older and even though we get along, I think my high energy is getting on his nerves. I have learned to be respectful of my foster cat but am a little rough with the kittens. I am doing great with my potty training but you do need to pay attention and notice my subtle cues to let me out. My teeny baby bladder hasn't grown big enough to hold it very long. So, along with my potty breaks every two hours, I'll see you bright and early in the mornings for my morning potty break! My foster mom says I get bored easily so lots of exercise and toys keep me out of trouble. Squeaky toys, bully sticks, balls, stuffed animals and play time with you will be necessary. Even though I am high energy I am also a snugly, sensitive boy and don't want to be left outside or alone in a kennel. I sleep really well at night if I am cuddled up next to you in your comfy warm bed. I really like kids but because I am a puppy and haven't quite learned all of my manners, we better stick to kids 8 and older. The shelter is recommending puppy classes which would be a wonderful way for us to get to know each other. If you are home most of the time, have the time and patience to raise a puppy, don't mind early mornings, have children over 8 years old, have a playmate for me, and lots of love to give me then maybe we should meet! NOTE: I am not in the shelter, but will be at Gresham Petsmart 430 NW Eastman Pkwy Gresham, Oregon 97030 on Saturday, Oct. 22nd from 11-3.
