My name is Thor. I am a 3-year old Husky/Malamute and I weigh 65 pounds. I am looking for VERY experienced owners, with knowledge of my breed being most beneficial. As with my breed I can be aloof but calm with new people, but very playful and affectionate with people that I know and love. I have not had much experience being left on my own, and will need owners who I can be around consistently or can help work with me on learning these skills. I can be very confident and rough when playing with other dogs, so the dog park would not be best suited for me, and my new home should be feline free. I love to play with tennis balls and squeaky toys for play time, and bones to chew on when I have down time. I have met people of all ages, and although I have done well, the shelter is recommending I go to a home with kids 12 and up as I have had issues with food guarding in my previous home. If you or anyone you know has had experience with these beautiful Arctic dogs and are looking for a new companion, I am confident you will find me quite intriguing, so come down to meet me!
