"MARLEY" I look like a puppy!

ADOPTED!
Jan 28, 2016

Thanks to the MCAS Foster Dog Program, and the MCAS staff and medical team, Marley is looking and feeling 1000% better in just a few months of good care. He is very cute!!

Marley came into the MCAS shelter ( with extremely swollen feet, inflamed and painful skin, and much of his hair missing)
Marley has/had Demodex mange (please see Marley's "before photos")
Demodex mange is a condition that is NOT contagious to people or other dogs, and (THANKS  to breakthroughs in  medical science, and people who care about dogs) these days Demodex is very  treatable!

Available for Adoption with Multnomah County Animal Services!

Hello there! My name is Marley. I am one of those cute dogs that looks like a puppy still even though I am over 2 years old. When I came to the shelter I was covered in mange and looking quite sad. The shelter and my foster family have helped me get a great start. I am feeling much better now! I am already housetrained and crate trained. I love people and have a great level of energy where if I get daily walks I'm a good, happy boy. I love to learn new things and already know how to sit, stay and come. I am working on down still. I can chew a little still and need plenty of toys to prevent this. I also get really excited when meeting new dogs. If you have one, that's ok they just need to know that I am still a puppy at heart. The shelter recommends that I go to a home with kids over 10 years old because I still play pretty rough with my mouth and we don't want anyone to accidentally get hurt. I also think cats are here for me to chase. My foster mom says I need to go to a home without them because I would likely hurt one on accident. If you are looking for an active, playful puppy-like dog to go on walks/uns with you and learn basic training/manners, I am your guy! Come down to the shelter and meet me today!

Here's me now, Jan 2, 2016 in my foster home!
I am adorable, and feeling Good!
and ready for a great new home - just ask to meet me
