Buddy was homeless in the MCAS for a few months, and finally found a great home
thank you so much - my volunteer hiking buddy Katia, for my pics today on our hike together, and for helping me and the other dogs who have been waiting for homes for some time. You are amazing!

Hello, my name is Bowie! If you are looking for a great singer in your new companion then you may want to pick a different fellow! I mean, I can sometimes be a vocal guy but probably not as great of a tune as my name suggests. Do you like going for walks? Can you provide me with a quiet place to decompress? I have been in the shelter for almost two months now and am really hoping to find a new venue! I arrived at the shelter as a stray dog so sadly not much is known about how I behave in the real world but I can tell you that with some patience, food, and with an experienced dog owner that I will blossom into a great canine friend. If you have no children under 10, no small animals and want to give a dog a chance then please email animal.care@multco.us to set up a meeting with me! I am around 6 years old and weigh a lean 70 pounds.
