"DAISY" very affectionate Bully mix -in a Temporary Foster Home. short and stout white Bully mix

 UPDATE 12/2/23 ADOPTED!

UPDATE 11/27/23 Daisy is now in a foster to adopt!  Wishing them well!

UPDATE 11/26  Daisy moving to a new foster home tomorrow -
🚨
Daisy needs a new foster! We will have her until Nov 26th, then she is returning to the shelter. 🚨
Why: I have been off work the last week so we were able to give Daisy a break from the shelter. But return to work Monday and we already have three dogs that have to live separate from each other, two elderly, one starting canine PT, and then add in work….keeping a forth dog separate just isn’t feasible long-term for us.
🌼Daisy is a pretty “ easy-keeper”…. Mostly potty trained, does fine alone ( has been alone up to 6.5 hours), not high energy but does need regular enrichment, a snuggly & loving dog 💓, has not shown to be destructive, rides well in the car, has not shown to be “barky”, has not shown to resource guard food or toys .
🌼She does need to be the only pet in the home or fully & safely separated from any other pet in the home. She doesn’t like other dogs.
🌼I have baby gates or xpen I can lend out to a potential foster.
🌼I am a Certified Professional Dog Trainer and I am happy to offer training support ( for free) and support.
🌼We would love to avoid her going back to MCAS where she had been since the beginning of June and was starting to decline.
Feel free to post question if I’m be if you want to learn more!! Thanks!

Heyo!! My name is Daisy and I am a 2 year old female Bully mix. I am a friendly pup with soft fur and spots like a cow. I love giving kisses and laying in cozy beds. I also have a lot of energy, and will need positive outlets to keep me mentally and physically stimulated. When I'm out for a walk, I tend to be neutral towards other dogs passing by. I have met a few different dogs here at the shelter, but was not so sure how I felt about them. I think at this time, being the only doggie in the home would be the best fit for me. I will always be ready to snuggle and watch movies with you, but also always be ready to go for a long walk. If you give me some love and attention, I'll give you lots of laid-back friendship in return! Please come meet me today :)

Hi, I'm Duke, and you will never feel alone with me in your house! My beautiful bellows will fill the room and your heart. If you want a dog with personality, I am your guy! Because I have powerhouse vocals, please do not adopt me unless you live in a home (no direct neighbors). I'd love someone who is ready to take me on walks - if you live in a hilly area, don't worry, I've got you covered! I'll help pull you up and over! I may need to work a little on leash manners as well as where I put my paws when I'm excited - I can be jumpy and put my paws on you at times. I'm a curious boy with a great sniffer and LOVE to smell every corner of every room, which includes counters or tables. Snuffle puzzles or mats would be PERFECT for me! The shelter is recommending a household with adults or older kiddos in the home for me because of my rambunctious energy! If you've got a heart of gold and would love some music in your life, consider meeting me!

Hi hello, my name is Hazel! I am a gorgeous young Labrador Pit Bull mix looking for my furever home. 💚 I came to shelter as a stray, so my history is a mystery. What my friends here at MCAS say is that I am such a sweet, social and loving gal. I know how to sit and I absolutely love tasty snacks. I do have some energy to burn, so my ideal family would be willing to take me on walks or nice long hikes to get out some of my energy. By the end of the day, I'd love to snuggle up and hang on the couch until it's time to rest up for the day of adventure! If you would like to learn more about me, ask to speak with adoption counselor
