ADOPTED!!!
July 2019
Please give Magpie time to settle in and trust you and the new spaces/routine before
introducing too many new things? She likes structure, it helps her feels secure!
And make sure she gets good daily exercise.
Maggie will no doubt be overwhelmed (and maybe overwhelming?) initially, but if you can
be patient, calm (and optimistic) you'll be so happy you adopted her, and you'll see why volunteers love her!
Wishing you all the best!
Available for adoption at Multnomah County Animal Services!

I am Magpie, a fun loving and energetic mix breed. Dogs like me love to
get out and play but are not always sure what to do with our mouths. I
can tend to get so excited I jump for the first thing I see, and the
game is on! My ideal family will be active, patient and use positive
training methods to help me become a more refined pup. I think working
with a trainer would be a fun way for us to bond and learn together. I
am eager to learn and can't wait to show you how smart I am! I need to
be the only animal in my new home, and need an adult only home! Ask to
meet me today.
==========
"Magpie is a young active dog seeking an active family. She's been
waiting a long time and will need an understanding family that will give
her time to adjust. She needs to be the only pet in the household, she
needs someone who likes smart dogs, she needs an active lifestyle, she
needs someone seeking a sweet girl that may take a few days to bond. Is that you?"
