I am Bella, a fun loving and energetic Alaskan Malamute. Dogs like me love to get out and play but are not always sure what to do with our mouths. I can tend to get so excited I jump for the first thing I see, and the game is on! My ideal family will be active, patient and use positive training methods to help me become a more refined pup. I think working with a trainer would be a fun way for us to bond and learn together. I am eager to learn and can't wait to show you how smart I am! If you have kids in the home, they will need to be over the age of 12 years, due to my jumpy/mouthy behaviors and some mild resource guarding. I will also need a home without cats, chickens, or other small critters. Please come and meet me today!
sorry about the barred shot

Hi! My name is Dottie, a 5 month old Chihuahua lady. I came into the shelter as a stray very emaciated, scared, and covered in urine stains (I only weighed 2 whole pounds!). I went into foster to get better, and now am available for adoption! Here is what my foster knows about me:
-I LOVE PLAYING, in fact I must go home with another playful small dog. It brings out my confidence and makes my separation anxiety go down at home.
- I bond HARD with my people, and am a big cuddler.
- I do take a little to warm up to new people, if you have food though I warm up quickly!
- I am scared of children, any in the home should be 15 and older and respectful of me.
- I am working on (and almost perfect) on potty training.
- I've been living with two cats and am great with them, I think they want to play with me all the time even though they don't :)
If you are looking for a fun, quirky, sweet gal to add to your family, please ask to meet me!

THERE WILL BE A SIGN UP SHEET FOR MY ADOPTION OUTSIDE THE SHELTER'S FRONT DOORS ON SUNDAY 12/2 AT 10 AM. MY ADOPTION WILL BE ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE BASIS (pending you meet the requirements). I do not count for the December special that is going on as I am under age!

My name is Max and I have never met an activity I did not like! If you love exercise and keeping active, then we will be fast friends. I will go for a run in the morning, a hike in the afternoon, play fetch in the evening, and unwind with some play at home before bed - and I would love nothing more than to have someone who can keep up with me. It is important that I have an outlet for my boundless energy, so let us get together and explore the outdoors! I can be sensitive to some handling and am still working on my manners, so if you have kids in the home, they will need to be over the age of 12 years. Please come and meet me today!

Max looks too serious in his pics.

WOWOW hi! My name is Tooters, I am a happy and cute Pitty mix fella that came to the shelter as a stray. I am a big love bug, but I am also high energy, so my new family should be active. I am also learning my manners still, I love to jump up and put my paws on you (sorry I was never taught that isn't nice). I do know sit, down, and shake, I really like to shake though, it might be just because I want to hold hands with you! I am eager and willing to learn more. I do need to go home with kids who can handle my rough play style and jumpiness, so any kids in the home should be 12 and older. I cannot go home with any cats or small animals. Do you think you have room in your home for a chunk like me? Ask to meet me today!

I am looking for an active family to call my own. I love playing! I get the zoomies quite frequently, I also LOVE toys. Tug toys, squeaky toys, balls, you name it! I do need learn some manners though, sometimes I jump up (and I'm a big dude), or when I try and ask you to play with me I may mouth your hands. I am doing this without knowing it is bad though, and easily stop if there is food involved! Did I mention I love food? I know "sit" and "speak", and am currently working on my leash manners with a harness because I am strong. I need to be the only animal in the home. Any kids as well need to be 12 years because I am so mouthy and jumpy. I want to make sure they can handle me. Do you have room in your home for me? - I know sit, and would be eager to learn more and be trained with positive methods.
- I am pretty scared here, I've started warming up to the great people in the shelter though, and just ask my new family to take things slow with me and give me time to acclimate to my new home.
- Any kids in the home should be respectful of how stressed I am at the moment, and I am asking they be 12 years and older.
