"ATHENA" little pitbull mix

ADOPTED!
Oct 2018
Available for adoption at Multnomah County Animal Services!

Athena, staffordshire bull terrier mix, 11 mths, 56 lbs
Mcas weblink
163722
I am Athena, a fun loving and energetic Pitbull mix. Dogs like me love to get out and play but are not always sure what to do with our mouths. I can tend to get so excited I jump for the first thing I see, and the game is on! My ideal family will be active, patient and use positive training methods to help me become a more refined pup. I think working with a trainer would be a fun way for us to bond and learn together. I am eager to learn and can't wait to show you how smart I am! Due to my jumpy/mouthy behaviors, any kids in the home will need to be over the age of 12 years. Please come and meet me today!

"BLUE" big delightful calm Aussie mix

ADOPTED!
Oct 2018
Available for adoption at Multnomah County Animal Services!

Blue, female Australian Shepherd mix, 5 yrs, 73 lbs
Mcas weblink
163521
My name is Blue and I am the dog who is always prepared for a marathon - as long as it is a movie marathon. There is nothing I love more than a cozy, warm bed and some good company. We can discuss our favorite foods while you give me pets and attention. I promise to provide you with lots of laid-back love and friendship if you save me a spot on the couch - or at least on the floor next to you! My new home should not have cats or small animals. I can be sensitive to some handling, so if you have kids in the home, they will need to be over the age of 5 years. I am a laid back lady, looking for a quiet, relaxing home.

Well, how do you do? I'm Alfred, an adorable older Poodle fella! I'm a mellow guy looking for a cozy place to cuddle up with a loving family. I'll need regular grooming to keep my coat as nice as it is currently. I have some vision issues - which isn't uncommon for older dogs like myself - so I would love a home willing to work with me to keep me safe and comfortable. I've been around other small dogs and have done well. Come and meet me today!

Available for adoption at Multnomah County Animal Services!

See all the Available Small Animals for adoption here

Benny, male, 2 yrs 5 mths, 2.5 lbs
Mcas weblink
145828
Benny is a bold energetic and pretty much fearless guinea pig. He has been around large calm and small dogs while in foster and greeted them with curiosity. He has also been around other guinea pigs and prefers to be a solo act. You will often find Benny at the front of his cage gnawing at the bars or squeaking for a special treat. Dandelion greens, romaine lettuce and carrots are among Benny's favorite things. He can be a bit mischievous and his agility makes him a bit of an escape artist so any outdoor time must be well supervised. He is great for morning conversation and evening entertainment. He would be a great pig for a first time owner but kids should be over 5.

ADOPTED!
Sept 2018

Available for adoption at Multnomah County Animal Services!

Sawyer, 3 mths, 6 lbs

Sawyer is a sweet, affectionate, and playful puppy. He came to us with a broken leg and remained in wonderful spirits. Although the cast has come off, he does still have a slight limp that may take time to heal. He enjoys playing with dogs and cats of all sizes. We are almost completely potty trained between a wee wee pad in the house and regular outside potty breaks. He is crate trained but cannot make it through the night, and will occasionally have an accident in his crate. He will need continued training but is eager to please and listens well. He is so full of love he is bursting with it.
THERE WILL BE A SIGN UP SHEET OUTSIDE THE SHELTER AT 10AM FOR ME ON SATURDAY 9/29.

I am a shy boy who needs a home experienced in socializing fearful dogs as I'm very unsure about the world right now. Ahoy, I'm Captain Doodlebeard! I'm a sweet, goofy Irish Shepadoodle (Irish Setter/German Shepherd X Standard Poodle) searching for a new home.
As a large, active, young adult dog, I still have lots of energy and will need regular exercise for years to come.
I love people and treats, so training should be a breeze.
My coat is quite wiry so it may be easier to maintain than other Poodle-mixes, but regular baths and brushing are still recommended.
In my last home, I lived with my buddy, Professor Potts (currently has an adopter) We would love to go home together but can be adopted separately.

Jennie is a happy, active and social little cavy. She would love to be adopted with one of her sisters, Jisoo or Rose'. Guinea pigs are happiest when they have a friend as they are actually herd animals. Jennie is social, and doesn't shy from being pet or gently picked up. Guinea pigs make a great first pet but since they are rather delicate kids who will be handling them should be over the age of 6.
