Chucky's nick name is Chuck E. Cheese because he loves it! He is a black and white male Pitbull mix. He is approximately 1 year old, weighs about 42 lbs. Chuck E. is a staff favorite here at the shelter. He loves people and play time and will delight you with his silly antics. He has been taught to play by mouthing hands and feet which is probably why he ended up at the shelter, and we're is working with him on that. For that reason Chuck E. requires an adult only home. He knows sit, is learning down and wait, has been introduced to a crate, rides well in cars and is house trained. Chuck E. also loves to play tug, go for walks and chew on long lasting treats like antlers and Himalayan chews! He would do fine in a home with another rambunctious dog (ideally female) who loves to play as much as he does, and will correct him if he gets too boisterous. With some structure and consistency and lots of exercise, Chuck E. will blossom into the perfect companion in the right home. Ask about Chuck E. today!!

The MCAS animal shelter - was able to bring him into the safety of the animal shelter...

 Nike has a microchip, but it has outdated contact Information, and no owner has been found, so Nike is now available for adoption.  It's important to keep your pet's Microchip ID contact information current, keep a collar and id tags on them, and also check the local shelters if your pet becomes lost.

My name is Nike. My friends here at the shelter found me wandering near the train tracks, and are unsure as to how long I have been out there by myself. As with being on my own, I can sometimes be aloof and stick to myself-I am what you call more of a companion than a playmate. But I am a really nice older gentleman who knows sit, down, shake, and speak! "I adopted a Pit named Crescent from you guys about 4 years ago now and I'm so grateful for him everyday, what you do is amazing and I'm grateful for you rescuing him so we could have him as part of our family."

Crescent has a big broad head, a fawn brindle colored body and a gentle spirit. He is a little timid of some new things, but responds really well to "happy voice" and treats. Crescent loves Squeaky toys! Crescent will need chew toys, daily exercise, lots of love, and of course socializing like all dogs do.

While he has been loving his runs during his stay at OHS, he also loves to play with toys, so a game of fetch in his very own fenced backyard would be perfect for him too! Don’t get us wrong, he loves to cuddle up with his people too, and his goofy, slobbery Boxer antics will keep you laughing for years to come. We think he would do best with someone who has owned Boxers before, and in an adult-only home (no apartments please!) without other dogs or cats (he wants to be your one and only).
