"DOTTIE" lots of sweetness!

ADOPTED!

I often act like a happy puppy in my Foster Home. Cuddle Time is very nice too!

I have big round beautiful brown eyes!

I love to run around the house with my toys!

This was the "BEFORE" pic of me!

When I came into the MCAS shelter, I had very little hair on my body, due to a severe flea allergy. I look and feel great now, and I'll need a good home where I get routine grooming, flea control and a good quality limited ingredient diet.

I am Sooooo Worth it!

"MISHA" ta da!

Yes, I am quite the catch in the shelter dog world, a purebred gorgeous German Shepherd, a nice girl and smart too! However....

I'll need lots of good daily exercise and mental stimulation to keep me from getting bored!!

"ROXIE GIRL" big hearted gal

I have a big broad dark chocolate/dark grey body and a big loving heart... I'm beautiful like a show dog!

I like to cuddle and be a lap dog, and I hope you'll let me do that sometimes? Just watch my music video:

I'm quite lovable. I can also be a tough girl sometimes when I'm at the shelter and walking past other noisy dogs....so even though I'm a calm dog, I'm not always what you'd call the submissive type.....but I sure am cool!

Lady is one of the best shelter dogs in Portland!

Lady is easy going but athletic too, she loves to run around in a safe place, and has good recall. Lady is smart, and attentive. So pretty! tan and white with unusual eyes, one blue one brown.

"SCOUT" ...continues the journey....

Well, as happens in the dog world.....Scout was adopted from the MCAS shelter into a home that loved him. But when they weren't able to care for him anymore, Scout ended up back at the shelter.

I'm a talented guy!

Scout listens very well, knows Sit and Lie down and more! He loves people and other dogs too.

These two are easy going pals that are already house trained, well mannered and dog and cat friendly. Both have had recent dental work so they are ready to go!

"GINGER ANN"

Ginger is loving and sweet. She may not been "out in the world" too much....

Ginger Ann would love a good indoor home where she gets lots of positive training and love and a gentle exposure to nice people and other dogs, so she can feel secure around outdoor activity.

The Roses still bloom in Troutdale!

Some of the roses at MCAS shelter are still in bloom! and the sky is Gorgeous!

well, flowers aren't technically blooming right now in Troutdale, but they are a pretty spot of color :)

At the Multnomah County Animal Shelter (MCAS) all the lost/ abandoned/ unclaimed animals (dogs, cats, bunnies, hamsters, birds, etc...) are well cared for. But a shelter is Not a home. The animals on adoption need great adopters. Please Come Visit these guys!

It's a pretty drive when you get closer to the Gorge and the MCAS shelter (I-84, exit 16) and the staff and volunteers will be happy to help you find your best new pet!
