My name is Jax and I'm looking for a stable, loving home. I have been passed around through a couple different homes recently and am really looking for a place to settle into. I am a hunk of fun loving that really enjoys my playtime. I get pretty bouncy and the shelter is recommending that children in the home be over the age of 10 years. I hope we can also spend some time building our bond with obedience classes too! I am 3 years old and weigh 73 pounds.

Hi my shelter name is Rainbow from My Little Pony. My side kick is Scootaloo's (but Scootaloo has an adopter)  My sister and I came here looking for an adoring family to help us grow up into dazzling ladies. If you can't tell us apart I have the longer curled over tail. Right now we are a bit worried about the world. Continuing positive experiences will be a must. At around 1 year old and weighing a svelte 7.8 lbs won't you help us find our forever home? We do not need to be adopted together, as this will help us grow and mature on our own. Please ask about me today.

Hi there! My name is Shine and I'm ready to find a new family. I am a very interactive and playful girl that adores people. My previous owner said that I am an active girl that loves to play and go for walks. I also enjoy curling up on your lap for little snoozes. I do come with a couple quirks that my new family will need to patient with me for. I still need some fine tuning in the potty training department and I've also been known to escape the yard. My new family will need to give me lots of guidance and supervision. Otherwise I am one of the sweetest girls you will ever meet and just the perfect size. The only thing I ask for is no felines in the home please. They are just too fun to chase. I am about 4 years old and weigh 13.3 pounds. Please come and meet me today!

"GRASSHOPPER" long legged chi mix

ADOPTED!

Available for adoption with Multnomah County Animal Services!

id # 566495

Hi there, my name is Grasshopper. I'm some sort of a little Chihuahua mix. I'm years old and weigh 7.8lbs. The shelter gave me my name because I love my squeaky toys and pounce on them like a grasshopper and I can even fetch. The shelter recommends kids are at least 10 years old in my new home because younger kids who would want to pick me up would be really scary. I like sitting in laps and neck scratches but I'm not too sure of myself so I need to be allowed to approach at my own speed, but when I decide you are safe, I'm very affectionate.

Hi there! My name is Tyson and I'm looking for an active home that will support my sensitive nature. Shelter life is a little overwhelming for me and my new family should be patient with me during my adjustment time. The nice person that found me said I that I ignored the cat and seemed social with the neighbor dogs. I am a breed mix that is known for having high energy, so I'm hoping for a family that enjoys long walks on the beach. I am 2 years old and weigh 67 pounds.

Hi! I'm Beatrice! I'm about 5 years old, spayed Chihuahua. I am a lot of dog in a little package! I'm very social and love being petted and cuddling. I also LOVE to play fetch! I am looking to adopt a family who will love me and play fetch with me and even do some positive dog training with me! I'm friendly and motivated. I can be a little nervous when I first meet people so I'd prefer a home with no small children.

Hi there, I'm Cricket. I'm a female Chihuahua mix and am years old and weigh about 12lbs. I'm a cute little girl who really likes to play with a squeaky tennis ball and I don’t always want to give it back but I will happily trade it for a small treat. The shelter recommends kids 10 & up because young kids don't always understand that tennis balls are prized possessions.

Hello, I'm Jester, a 4year old neutered Rat Terrier mix. At 21lbs. I'm sturdy enough to go on hikes or just hang out. The shelter is currently treating me for a chronic ear infection so my new owner needs to follow up with their vet and understand that my ears are sensitive because they are tender. Otherwise I'm a confident outgoing guy! Hope to see you soon :)

My name is Tamarin, aptly named for my physical characteristics of the well- known monkey. I am a super social guy that loves everybody! My new family should expect to take care of my grooming needs, so my coat doesn't get matted again.  A good Samaritan found me wandering the streets and my hair was matted to the skin and covered with fleas. As you can see, I have now been well taken care of. I am an active guy that would enjoy days at the park and nights by the fire. I am about 1 1/2 years old and weigh 13.8 pounds. Please come see me today!

Here's a shout out to all the big dog people. I'm the kind of guy you want to have at your side on a dark night or just when you want a dog of substance for company. But don't let my size fool you into thinking I am a tough guy. If the going got rough, I am more likely to bark and hide behind you than go first into the basement. I am a nice guy who is looking for a gentle home. I am about 3 years of age and I weigh a dainty 120lbs. Ask about me today!

id # 566179

Hey, my name is Scruffy. What else could you call a little guy like me? I'm a terrier mix about 19lbs and 8 years old. I had a wound on my ear and it was hard to be out on the streets so I'm having some trust issues right now. The shelter fixed that all up but they are recommending respectful kids 12 & up who will allow me time to adjust. While one of the staff was making friends she discovered that I like little pieces of hotdog & to have my rear scratched. Do you think you could be my friend? Come on down and see me.

id # 566079

My name is Scrappy and I'm looking for a home to spend my golden years in. If you have a comfy bed or couch for me to curl up in, I will be your heart and soul. I can't wait to spend my night fireside with you. I came to the shelter after my owner could no longer care for me. I have some medical issues going on with me and will need my new family to accept me into the hearts knowing that I may only have a short time with them. I'm what you would call a hospice adoption. It is possible that I have mammary cancer and the vets here have sent samples out to the lab for testing. I also have some pretty bad ear infections that are being treated right now. I hope this won't deter you. Although I may look a little rough on the exterior, my heart is pure gold and I will do anything for yummy treats. The shelter is asking for a home with children over the age of 10 years, due to my sensitivity. Please come out and make me a part of your family today. I am about 12 years old and weigh a thin 37 pounds

If you are interested in learning more about me, please email my foster mom at aimeeslomo@gmail.com. Although I am blind, I am extremely relaxed and capable when it comes to learning new surroundings. I enjoy wandering the yard, going on walks, and going to the dog park and I walk very well on leash. I am crate trained! I am affectionate and sweet, and would love to wile away the hours on your lap or by your feet. I have done fabulously with crating in my foster home, and have been exposed to large and small dogs as well as cats. I am house trained if I'm let out regularly or has access to a dog door.
