Hi there! My name is Jake and I am a 2 1/2 year old male American Pit Bull! I am pretty shy here at the shelter at first but can slowly warm up to you with some patience, baby talk, and treats! Not too much is known about my history, but I know I am ready to find my furever home! My foster parents [have] a lot of great things to say about me!! They say I appear to be potty trained as I had no accidents in their house and do not appear to be prey driven. I walk great on the leash but can sometimes struggle exiting doors as they seem to scare me. I would do best in a home where the family is home most of the time or with a family that already has a furbaby to show me it's okay to be alone. I am looking for a patient loving family that can help keep my personality shining and show me that the world is not such a scary place as I think it is.
