Scooby has been waiting a long time for a home!
Scooby has *bilateral dislocation of his shoulders* and because of this, he has been sadly overlooked by potential adopters.
He loves to go on slow walks and stop to sniff everything. Scooby is a smart little guy. He loves to be petted once he knows you.
Scooby was part of a special rescue group. The other dogs in the group have all been adopted. Now it's SCOOBY'S turn to find a great home!
"SCOOBY" AVAILABLE FOR Adoption at Oregon Humane Society in PORTLAND
SCOOBY #352856 Looks like: Terrier, Mixneutered male 1 yr 9 mths 21 lbs available $50
What my friends at OHS say about me:
- I am a sweet and sensitive boy who takes a little time to build trust and make friends.
- Giddy-up! The staff here call me a pony because I like to stand on my hind legs for easier access to pets.
- I love nothing more than to be held close and snuggled.
- I had so much fun meeting another dog here in the shelter. My friends at OHS think I would be great at making new dog friends!
- I have bilateral dislocation of my shoulders. This is most likely a congenital condition but will require long term medical management with your veterinarian.
- To learn more about my specific needs, please read my What to Expect handout.
- I will need to meet any canine companions prior to getting adopted.
- I am part of the Diamond in the Ruff program, which you can learn more about here.
The type of home I'm looking for:
- I need to go to a home where there is another dog to help boost my confidence and to play with!
- I must go to a home with a fenced in yard.
- It could be with you! Click here to learn about the adoption process.
