Meet Tuffnut: A Sweetheart Learning to Shine Meet Tuffnut, a beautiful 7-month-old female Black Lab mix with a heart of gold that's just a little bit shy. This lovely pup is currently navigating the world with a nervous and timid demeanor, approaching new situations and people with caution. Tough Nut is looking for a patient and understanding home that can help her blossom into the confident dog we know she can be. She'll thrive in an environment where she feels safe and secure, with gentle encouragement and positive reinforcement to help her overcome her fears. With a little time, love, and consistent reassurance, Tuffnut promises to be an incredibly loyal and affectionate companion, ready to share her quiet joy with a family dedicated to helping her shine.

poor baby looks scared (but much better off in the shelter than loose in the streets!)
