Dawson would LOVE an active home esp with a compatible dog to be able to play with. (BUT GIVE HIM TIME TO DECOMPRESS) He has great playbows and does zoomies too!

I am Dawson a fun loving and energetic young Shepherd mix. Dogs like me love to get out and play but are not always sure what to do with our mouths. I can tend to get so excited I jump for the first thing I see, and the game is on! My ideal home will be active, patient and use positive training methods to help me become a more refined pup. Regular mental and physical exercise will help me be a better companion. Scattering my food in the yard for me to find and/or freezing a Kong toy stuffed with food would be a good way to help me burn off some steam. I'd rather do something for my food than be fed from a bowl. If there are kids in my new home they should be at least 8 years old due to my jumpy/mouthy behavior. Come to the shelter and meet me today!
