Frida, our 2 year old 13 pound Chiweenie, is an expert nuzzler and is happiest when being held. When she's in someone's arms, Frida fits her head tightly under their chin. She likes to hold hands and she's very generous with her kisses. Frida's love language is definitely physical touch. Our love language, on the other hand, is finding dogs their own families (don't tell us that's not a love language).

When she was out on the streets, Frida zigged when she should have zagged and she was hit by a car. Due to the extent of her injuries, we stepped in to help. Frida's pelvis was fractured and her rear leg was badly damaged. Although her leg could not be saved, Frida is thriving as a tripod. Now that she's healed, she can motor around just like before.

Frida is really friendly, although a bit reserved with new people. Once she sees the snacks come out, all reservations are gone. At home, Frida is x-pen trained and potty trained. She is great with other dogs, loves tossing toys around, and is up for adventures. However, Frida needs a bit more leash training. She pulls a little and sometimes barks at other animals. Good thing she's so snack motivated! We have not seen Frida with cats, but we suspect she could live with a dog savvy one.

Frida is heartworm negative and current on her flea and heartworm preventatives.

We just looked up the love languages, and "adopting three-legged dogs" is not one of them. Who came up with these? Prove them wrong and apply to adopt.
