Stumptown Strays" is a wonderful local Rescue that helps shelter dogs in need of medical assistance.
"DYLAN " is Available for adoption with STUMPTOWN STRAYS
neutered male 2 yrs 10 lbs, Pomeranian
adoption fee n/a( $350 ?) ok with dogs-yes..cats-yes....kids (unknown)
Personality: Affectionate, Funny, Loves, Playful, Friendly
Dylan, our 10 pound 2 year old pomeranian, requires at least 20 minutes of aggressive snuggling each morning before he can begin his day. Some of us need coffee and a doom scroll before we can get up. Dylan needs a hug.
Left at the shelter, Dylan was in rough shape. He needed a very drastic haircut and was covered in fleas. We were asked to take him in because Dylan had a broken tooth and a mild skin infection from the mats. Since we've had him, Dylan's skin has healed and his hairdo is as fresh as his breath.
Crate trained and good when left alone,
Dylan has been a fun house guest. He sleeps comfortably in a crate and
isn't destructive. Dylan is working on potty training. He's come a long
way, but still tends to mark - fortunately, Dylan looks amazing in a
belly band. Now that he's neutered, we suspect this behavior to continue
to improve.

Dylan is playful with other dogs and has been
respectful of cats. He loves taking walks and is good on a leash. When
he knows something exciting is about to happen (like breakfast), Dylan
does little spins.
Dylan is incredibly friendly. He loves people
and thrives on scratches and cuddles. However, he sometimes flinches
with fast movements or when people reach over him. For this reason, we
think Dylan would prefer older, respectful kids in his house.
We told Dylan that we're finding him a family to snuggle with in the morning. He's still spinning.
