"CRAN" *Pre-select* sweet CURLY-COATED Retriever mix "MCAS"

UPDATE 11/19/25  on hold or RECLAIMED

If you care about the current overpopulation crisis of homeless pets, PLEASE let Multnomah County commissioners/ MCAS and news stations know that MCAS needs to spay/neuter the dogs before adoption!

MCAS needs to spay/neuter all dogs before adoption, especially the females and purebred dogs! Management is failing the dogs and the community. They have had years to resolve this issue and are creating a larger problem for homeless pets. ..... but...it's not the dogs' fault, and the dogs need good adopters!

11/18/25 "I'm available for a pre-select adoption but I can't go home yet. Please come to the shelter to apply! Learn more about Pre-select animals." NOTE- it is important to check at the local animal shelters if you lose your pet as the stray hold time is only 3-6 days depending on if they have any id . Often the dog is listed as pre-select the same day it comes in as a stray

🐾 Cran is a beautiful, curly-coated Retriever mix who recently arrived at the shelter as a stray. While we don't know much about her past, she is understandably a little nervous as she adjusts to her new surroundings. This sweet girl is looking for a patient and understanding home that can give her the time and space she needs to settle in and feel safe. With a little TLC and consistency, Cran is sure to blossom into a loyal and wonderful companion. If you are ready to open your heart to a lovely dog in need of a fresh start, come meet Cran!
