MARSHA PERMANENT PERMANENT FOSTER HOME NEEDED: for "OLD DOG HAVEN"(note: all medical expenses paid by rescue)

(fosters needed -located in W. Washington state or Portland, OR only)

We are looking for a forever foster to send this girl to. As an Old Dog Haven foster, all of her vet care will be covered by our organization (thanks to donations!). If you cannot foster for Old Dog Haven, you can still help Marsha by sharing our plea for her.
PERMANENT ODH FOSTER HOME NEEDED:
(in W. Washington or Portland, OR only)

"Marsha" is a spayed female German shepherd, who weighs about
60 pounds. She is probably 12-14 years old. The shelter describes her as a very
sweet gentle soul who is unbothered by cats or other dogs and is great
with kids; she's a favorite in the small shelter.
We are told she's mostly deaf but still sees decently despite developing cataracts. Marsha is good on a leash and very quiet in her kennel. She has a mild head tilt that seems to be due to longterm ear infections - the one crumpled ear has had a
hematoma in the past and still has some inflammation. Marsha has many
fractured and worn teeth (not surprising at her age), some scaly skin,
and definitely some hind-end ataxia probably from arthritis or old
injuries. She's a bit of a wobbly, frail girl (and could use meds
and supplements!) but her bloodwork is just fine so organs are working well.
We would love to find her an Old Dog Haven home to give her the best care and a
happy last chapter of her life.
