As a NON- SHEDDING type dog, GONZO will need routine Professional Grooming (probably every 6 or 8 weeks?) and brushing at home. He came into a shelter as a "stray dog" so grossly matted that you couldn't even see his face ( he could hardly see!) and his feet had so much hair that he was slipping on the floor. PLEASE don't get a non-shedder if you aren't able/willing to take care of it's grooming needs

GONZO "BEFORE"- SADLY - is not unusual for shelters to see non- shedding dogs come into the shelter in this awful condition. This isn't just "curly hair" It is Painfully matted and often the dog is unable to even see out. Please only get a "non-shedder" if you are able and willing to maintain it (routine professional grooming every 6-8weeks)
GONZO NOW - Gonzo had to be fully clipped down to eliminate all the painful matts. He feels so much better now!!!(and he can see again)
