Ashley Mae is fully potty trained and has proven to be crate trained as well, making her a great addition to any household. Ashley Mae likes to follow the resident dog in her current foster home, a submissive and mellow dog, who really wants nothing to do with her. Ashely needs some time for slow introductions to new friends, as she can be reactive on a leash and may bark and lunge when startled. This charming girl has a playful side, too! She's fascinated by the hose and loves to bounce around in the backyard-but don't expect her to know what toys are just yet, as she hasn't quite figured that part out! Ashley Mae has a playful spirit, especially when it comes to the neighbor's 8-year-old, who she absolutely adores. Ashley Mae does have a curious side when it comes to the neighbor's cows and can sometimes be a bit obsessed, so a home with plenty of space to roam would be ideal. She enjoys alerting her family to the goings-on around her, making her a great watchdog! While she does well meeting strangers both on walks and in homes, her best environment would be a place where she isn't confined to an apartment-she thrives outdoors where she can explore and engage with her surroundings.
