Manny is a dreamy, wiggly, mellow big guy who just wants to be around his people. He is a champion of cuddles who will rest his head (or his whole body) in your lap. His ideal day includes a nap together on the couch and some fetch or play with tennis balls, Kongs, or tug of war. Manny has the demeanor of a chill mature dog but lots of playful energy and athleticism when it is playtime. Manny was in foster in an apartment building and could ignore the sounds of neighbors and stay quiet. He is happiest and most relaxed when he is hanging out with his people. He can get a little lonely and miss his people sometimes, but a peanut butter Kong is a great distraction to help him settle when he is left alone. He does great with walking on a leash with a harness and can easily ignore reactive dogs or loud noises. He sometimes likes to bring his Kong along on walks. Manny is a fast learner and knows "sit," "touch," and is practicing coming when called and "drop it" - all from just a few days of training. Most importantly, Manny loves everybody, whether it is people, dogs, or cats. With a proper introduction, he can give a cat space or will come up and give them a kiss if they allow it. Manny greets new people on the leash very gently and without jumping. He is very adaptable and a huge love bug, and his adopters will be lucky to have him

This 8-year-old, 68-pound American Pit Bull Terrier dreamboat is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all his shots. Manny is not just a dog; he’s a champion cuddler who adores people, kids, dogs, and even cats!
Manny's ideal day includes cozy naps on the couch, playing fetch, and some tug of war with his favorite toys. He’s lived in an apartment before and knows how to stay quiet and calm despite any noisy neighbors. Manny is happiest when he’s with his people and does get a bit lonely when left alone, but give him a peanut butter Kong, and he’s perfectly content.
Leash walks are a breeze with Manny – he’s well-behaved, loves his harness, and can easily ignore reactive dogs or loud noises. When meeting other dogs, Manny can respectfully walk past them or give them a gentle sniff if they’re up for it. He even enjoys bringing his Kong along on walks. Manny greets everyone gently, making him an excellent companion for any home.
Manny is especially respectful when meeting cats. With a proper introduction, he can give a cat space or come up and give them a kiss if they allow it. He’s gentle and considerate, making him a great addition to a home with feline friends.
Manny would thrive in a household with more than one person because he has so much love to share. Adaptable, affectionate, and full of love, Manny is ready to find his forever family! πŸΎπŸ’•
