My name is Austin. I am a 3 year-old Lab mix and I weigh 64 pounds. I am more of the strong and silent type, preferring to keep my distance until I get to know you. I really enjoy getting out for walks or hikes, letting me use my nose and explore. I am a great companion, but at this time I am not much into being constantly pet or hugged-good information if there are kids in the home! I have shown pro-social behaviors with other dogs, but prefer dogs as companions then play mates. They rough and rowdy friends may not be the best match, but a calm and easy-going friend may do the trick. Come down to the shelter to see me today!
