Hi there! My name is Sakura and I'm in search of a new home. I am a sweet, playful girl that loves exploring, playing with toys, and being loyal to my people. I am asking for a home that has had experience with Akita's. We are great dogs, but typically have quirks that can be difficult to manage. I have been pretty accepting of the shelter, but have shown some conflicting behavior with strangers. It takes me a bit to get to know new people. This can be a pretty typical behavior of my breed. My new home needs to have kids over the age of 12 years old due to my handling sensitivities and food guarding.
