Captain seems to settle down and pay attention best when someone is petting him and giving him praise. Otherwise....he can act a bit "distracted" as he is young and a little unsure of new things. He is very lovable.

Full speed ahead describes me best. My shelter name is Captain. I'm an friendly, active, handsome, 1 year old Germ an Shepherd mix. I'm 70lbs. Of fun ready to go. I don't appear to have had much training so the shelter is recommending obedience class for me asap. They say with some training I have a lot of potential to be a great companion for an active home who wants a running or hiking companion. I might be a little much for young kids so the shelter is recommending sturdy kids 10 & up. I should not have any cats in my new home.
