Hey everybody! My name is Petey and I am looking for a special home that can provide me with the tools I need to become an outstanding canine citizen. Life did not start out so great for me and I am looking for the love and support that every dog deserves. I am a very loving boy that will need some attention on my impulse control. Sometimes I get so excited the feeling just takes over. I have started some work already and in just a couple of training sessions I can focus on my reward and sit. I am eager to learn, but will need plenty of exercise and mind stimulation. I have lived with another female dog before, but I can be picky about my friends. The shelter will require that we have a private consultation with a reward based trainer to help get me started on the right paw. Kids in the home should be over the age of 16 years and No cats or other animals smaller than myself should be in the home. If you are interested in meeting me, please email animal.care@multco.us. I am about 1 1/2 years old and weigh a thin 53 pounds.
