My name is Shasta and I have never met an activity I did not like! If you love exercise and keeping active, then we will be fast friends. I will go for a run in the morning, a hike in the afternoon, play fetch in the evening, and unwind with some play at home before bed - and I would love nothing more than to have someone who can keep up with me. It is important that I have an outlet for my boundless energy, so let us get together and explore the outdoors! I can be sensitive to handling, so if you have kids in the home, they will need to be over the age of 8 years. I will also need a home without any cats or small animals.

"HAPPY Adoption HAZEL" the guinea pig

Happy Adoption: Hazel  June 2019
"One year has gone by since we adopted this sweet guinea pig named Hazel. She loves veggies, and cuddles with mom and dad. We love it when she sings to us when she gets excited and does her little popcorn dance. Such a wonderful little soul. Thank you for letting us be piggie parents to this girl, we'll make sure she's always happy."

Hazel is a friendly, social 1-eyed Guinea Pig - she had a severe eye injury that was treated here at the shelter. This sweet little cavi loves attention, solicits petting and does not mind being picked up gently or held on your lap. She has been around people and knows when humans are around good things happen, like grooming and her favorite treats! Hazel would be a good Guinea for a first time owner. She is good for morning conversation and always eats her greens. Come meet this sweet girl today!!  3 yrs 7mths, 2.4 lbs

Hi, there! My shelter name is Pip. It's short for pretty in pink, due to the cute pink collar with a bow that I was wearing when I arrived at the shelter.
I am a great little dog who makes the best of every situation and I love to play! If you are looking for a fun, playful dog to add some joy to your life and help make you laugh, then look no further. I will bring endless fun and keep you entertained with my goofy antics. I can be very particular about my canine friends so I need to meet any other dogs you have in the home. If you can keep up with me then I promise that we will have a life full of enjoyment with lots of great stories! I am around 1 year old and weigh about 6 lbs

Great little dog, very playful!
a video would better show her silliness

Happy Adoption Update - LAKOTA (aka Xander)

Happy Adoption: Lakota (Xander) June 2019

It was love at first sight when I looked into Lakota's eyes, I knew at that moment that he was coming home with us! Lakota has come a long way over the past year, he is extremely smart and has overcome several behavior hurdles. His favorite pastime is going for walks at 1000 acres and swimming with his friends in the river.

I am Xander, a fun loving and energetic German Shepherd mix. Dogs like me love to get out and play but are not always sure what to do with our mouths. I can tend to get so excited I jump for the first thing I see, and the game is on! My ideal family will be active, patient and use positive training methods to help me become a more refined pup. I think working with a trainer would be a fun way for us to bond and learn together. I am eager to learn and can't wait to show you how smart I am! If you have kids in the home, they will need to be over the age of 12 years due to my jumpy/mouthy behaviors. Please come and meet me today!  3 yrs 78 lbs

My name is Likuta and I am in search of a new family. I am a very sweet girl that enjoys other dogs and trying to sit on my person's lap. I can be fearful at times, so I may need slow introductions to new environments and new people. The shelter is recommending that if you have kids in the home, they be over the age of 5 years due to my fearful behaviors and some mild resource guarding. I am a super snuggler when I feel comfortable and can't wait to meet my new family! There should be no cats in my new home.

They call me Tony Bologna, I'm a big hunk of a dog who takes just a little time to warm up in new situations. After I feel safe I am very playful and exuberant. I am happiest where my people are so a family that has time for lots of play and exercise alternating with movie marathons is what I'm looking for. Kids in my home must be sturdy and over the age of 12 since I am such a big strong dog and have shown some resource guarding here at the shelter. I also think I am a lap dog.
