"AVALANCHE" *IN foster** american Shepter dog (part Border Collie?) "MCAS"

Avalanche was terrified in the shelter! He is doing well in a foster home and is now ready for adoption to a home where his intelligence, sensitivity, energy (good looks and charm!) are appreciated

12/16/25 "I'm available for a pre-select adoption but I can't go home yet. Please come to the shelter to apply! Learn more about Pre-select animals." NOTE- it is important to check at the local animal shelters if you lose your pet as the stray hold time is only 3-6 days depending on if they have any id . Often the dog is listed as pre-select the same day it comes in as a stray

Meet Avalanche, a loving and energetic companion who lives for adventure and affection. This smart boy is a total pro at his commands and maintains a steady pace on his walks. While he can be a bit leash reactive when meeting new people on the trail, he is a social butterfly once he's off-leash in a fenced area, where he thrives playing with both humans and fellow canines. Whether he's chasing friends in a game of fetch or enjoying the breeze on a long car ride, Avalanche is always up for fun-especially if there's a pup cup, hot dog, or dried sweet potato waiting for him at the end of the trip. If you're looking for a loyal partner who rewards patience with wagging tails, Avalanche is ready to find his forever "basecamp" with you! 🏔️✨
