Since living in a foster home, Sandy has learned so much. She knows sit
and down, is working hard on stay, and her leash manners have greatly
improved. Her off-leash recall is also coming along beautifully. Sandy
loves to play-whether it's chasing balls, romping with toys, or enjoying
a good play session with other dogs. In fact, she seems to feel most
comfortable when other dogs are around, and she tends to accept new
humans more easily when they come with a canine friend.
She could be the only dog in the home as long as she gets the chance to play with other dogs regularly, but she would also love some playful dog siblings!
Sandy does need some patience with strangers. She has a big, intimidating bark when unfamiliar people approach, especially at home, and she takes time to build trust. Because of this, she's looking for a calm and understanding adopter who can be her safe space-someone who will reassure her that the world isn't so scary, while continuing to build on all the great progress she's made.
In return, Sandy promises endless love, snuggles, and a loyal companion who will reward your patience a hundred times over. If you can offer her a loving home and help her continue to blossom, Sandy just might be the perfect match for you.
