Hi, I'm Onyx, a 6 year old Pitbull. I am very nervous here at the shelter, but went into a foster home and did great! My foster parent said that I am potty- trained, a great snuggler and am really good on a leash. When we went on walks, I wanted to meet all the people! I would however, be best in a home as an only dog, and since I like my toys to be my own, I would be best with no small children. Heyo! I'm Archie, an energetic two year old  mix with amazing ears. I was brought to the shelter as a stray, so not much is known about my past before arriving here. Staff and volunteers have come to know me as a smart and playful dog with a lot of energy and a silly attitude. I am usually SO excited to play or go walking that I greet everyone at my kennel with jumps. I will of course sit for treats though! I am not quite sure how I feel about other doggies just yet. I seem to be dog selective and undersocialized. My ideal family will be patient with me and use positive training methods to help me become my best self and learn how to socialize politely. I think working with a trainer could be a really fun way for us to grow and learn together. I am really great at fetch and think that it's a blast. I love catching things in the air!! He is the sweetest, mellow, loving boy! He loves to chew on his toys and play with all the dogs he meets. He has a gentle play manner and gets along with all dogs. He is a little timid at first but once he warms up his personality shines! He is smart and gentle. He has been around children from 1 month old to 12 years old and just loves them. He is very respectful of kids and gives them kisses. He loves to cuddle but is down for an adventure! We took him to the pumpkin patch where he explored all kinds of sounds, smells, animals and people. He did great! Went on a tractor ride and posed for some photos! Bo is going to be the best companion! He seems to me like he is mixed with lab and maybe German Shepard? Anyone would be lucky to add Bo to their family, he is a very special dog.

Hi, I'm Casper! I'm no ghost, but I sure am friendly! I might be in my golden years, but you wouldn't know it. I am blind, but brave, and I like to face the world head on! Because of that, I run into everything including other dogs, which they don't like. I think I do well with other dogs until they react poorly to me running into them on accident, then I need to protect myself! I think I'd do fine in a home as an only dog or another dog that shows me patience and grace. I love humans. All humans, little and big. I love them so much that I cry and bark when I don't know where they are- it makes me very anxious to be alone. Because I can't see, I can also get startled when I am touched and I don't expect it. I would prefer to be around kids who are old enough to understand my condition so they don't startle me. I like to party, and be part of the party. Let me show you my dance moves! I am potty trained but I get anxious when left alone so I mark in the house out of stress. My foster mom says belly bands are a lifesaver for when she has to leave the house for a while.
