Happy Adoption: Dotti (Diamond Girl)

"We adopted Dotti (formerly known as Diamond Girl) on August 23rd 2019 and she is absolutely fitting in with our family of 3 kids, 2 other dogs, 3 cats and 1 large Sulcata tortoise! I am so fortunate to be able to take her to work with me every day where she is surrounded by other dogs and people all day long! Here she is participating in our Halloween festivities dressed as a pumpkin!! What an amazing addition to our family she has been!"

I'm Diamond Girl, a 1 year old Pitbull. I weigh about 49 lbs. I love to be with people. I would love nothing more than the snuggle or trot along with you on walks. I could use some more training regarding leash manners to make our walks more enjoyable and I'm ready to learn. The shelter is recommending kids 8 & up due to some handling sensitivity and fear.

199453
My name is Leila and my favorite hobby is exploring! I am a curious, smart dog and I love to learn new things about the world around me. I would love to have a job to do or learn some new tricks to give my mind something to work on. I do not shy away from novel situations and if you can keep me mentally and physically stimulated, I will be your loving friend forever. I am looking for a patient family that can teach me how to dog. I have lived mostly outdoors and will require some basic training for my transition to an indoor family dog. I do know some tricks, but need some refreshing on basic manners. For this reason any kids in the home will need to be over the age of 8 years. I will need a cat free home. I am in a quieter area of the shelter, so please ask to meet me.

I am Dexter, a fun loving and energetic Pitbull mix. Dogs like me love to get out and play but are not always sure what to do with our mouths. I can tend to get so excited I jump for the first thing I see, and the game is on! My ideal family will be active, patient and use positive training methods to help me become a more refined pup. I think working with a trainer would be a fun way for us to bond and learn together. I am eager to learn and can't wait to show you how smart I am! It is recommended that if there are kids in the home, that they be over the age of 8 years due to my jumpy/mouthy behaviors and resource guarding. I DO enjoy the company of other dogs and have also lived with a cat (but honestly I was a little scared of it). Please come and meet me today!

If you want a new best friend who will adore you forever, I'm the one! I'm also very active and would love a home that can keep up with me - I'll play fetch all day and still have energy for a long walk in the evening. I can sometimes get excited and jump up on people so I need a little work on my manners training. Hi there, Kojack here. A sensitive and independent little guy looking for my new home. I like things on my own terms, that means I might not be the cuddliest little dog, but I do enjoy the occasional scratch and belly rub! I also am very playful and love walks. I do resource guard food and toys, and an adoption counselor can go over more about that in our adoption counsel, so I do need to go home with kids 12 and older. Ask to meet me!
