MCAS hours/ Location

Buster Brown, male Boxer/pitbull mix, 8 yrs 2 mths, 57lbs
Mcas weblink Adopted!

Buster is a loving and playful boxer mix. He loves to play fetch, seems to be comfortable around kids and is very gentle. He is very smart and can do lots of tricks such as, sit, shake, lay down and he even knows how to play dead and roll over. Because of his age he prefers softer food and treats because of his teeth. He also has cauliflower ear and an old injury on his tow that healed wrong so he doesn't like to play for long periods of time. He walks great on a leash and is potty trained. He loves to keep people company and is looking for a loving home to go to.
**He is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting him, please contact them at Michelle.M.Tierney@doc.state.or.us to set up a time.

Buster Brown is currently living
at Columbia River Correctional Institution
as a foster dog in their training program

My name is Theon! I came into the shelter as a stray and am now looking for a new home, I am a sweet and fun young guy that would make a great family dog as long as the kids are 5 years or older! I do jump up sometimes, and need some work on my manners, but I will shower you with kisses in the meantime! I am active, LOVE to play ball. I do know the commands "sit" and "drop it" but would LOVE to learn more. Ask to meet me today!

Great little dog! His head isn't as big as it looks here.
Theon is much cuter in person!

Giovanni, male pitbull
 here's my Mcas weblink Adopted!

I am Giovanni, a fun loving and energetic Pitbull mix. Dogs like me love to get out and play but are not always sure what to do with our mouths. I can tend to get so excited I jump for the first thing I see, and the game is on! My ideal family will be active, patient and use positive training methods to help me become a more refined pup. I think working with a trainer would be a fun way for us to bond and learn together. I am eager to learn and can't wait to show you how smart I am! If you have kids in the home, they will need to be over the age of 5 years due to my jumpy/mouthy behaviors. Please come and meet me today!

"ROMEO and JULIET" Bonded Baby Bunnies

Adopted or Transfered to Rabbit Advocates
Apr 2019

Bunnies can be fun and easy maintenance pets! Bunnies should NOT be "Easter Bunnies" to be given as holiday gifts and then discarded when no longer wanted.  They are domesticated animals who rely on loving, responsible and committed people to care for them. A well cared for house rabbit who has been spayed/neutered early has a life expectancy of 8 -12 years.  They need daily time out of their kennels for socializing and exercise. The more time you spend with a bunny, the more they show you their unique personalities.

Available for adoption at Multnomah County Animal Services!

Romeo and Juliet, Polish mix bunnies, male and female, 4 months old
here's my Mcas weblink  foster/rescue or adopted
189655 and 189656

Romeo and Juliet are a bonded pair of young bunnies and need to be adopted together. They have probably not been handled much in their past and are still learning that good things can happen when people pick them up. Like many animals they are happiest with all four feet firmly on the ground! They enjoy their fresh daily greens, are learning to use a litterbox and permit handling but are anxious when being held and often kick until they feel more secure in your arms. The more you practice picking them up gently the easier it will be for both of you. Lots of positive reinforcements while being held will help to speed up this process. Come meet them and fall in love!!
